Gender-Based Violence in the Workplace: What Plaintiff's Lawyers Need to Know When Representing Victims of Violence at Work

Employees who have experienced gender-based violence in their workplaces face specific challenges and considerations as plaintiffs. This two-part CLE will cover how to employ a trauma-informed approach and why it is important; pleading strategies and potential claims; understanding criminal proceedings and victim's rights; negotiation and resolution strategies; and damages.  The 3/18 panel will feature Amy Robinson, Partner at Giskan Solotaroff & Anderson LLP; Sydney Zazzaro, Associate at Emery Celli Brinckerhoff Ward & Maazel, and others (TBD) to discuss specific legal strategies related to gender-based workplace violence.
