Learn from NELA member Joey Aron, Founding Attorney of Aron Law and Diana File, CEO & Founder of DF Analytics, about how to obtain and efficiently utilize records and data during the discovery process to advance your legal theory including: leveraging publicly accessible data sources to reveal and establish discrimination, including using litigation against recalcitrant agencies; requesting records that will yield usable data for statistical analysis; detecting and verifying the existence of systemic discrimination in pay practices, including in small organizations; practical strategies for overcoming challenges in data analytics with sample sizes; and developing persuasive narratives through exploratory and confirmatory analysis techniques.
 
Joseph Aron Esq. is the Founding Attorney of Aron Law, PLLC. He regularly litigates cases relating to the public's right to see government documents pursuant to the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL), throughout the State in both the Trial and Appellate courts and has successfully litigated FOIL cases in state appellate divisions. He lectures and writes regularly on FOIL.
